Ethan Hagenbuch for DTC l X

February 27th, 2010

Ethan Hagenbuch, a professional woodworker and restorationist for Danish Teak Classics, has recently completed a new piece for his developing line.  The concept of his designs are influenced by the Danish Modern aesthetic and functionality, with an emphasis on the simple innate beauty in the materials.  Hagenbuch's pieces are designed to breech the gap between mass-production and high-quality handcrafted pieces.  Dimensions and materials are adjustable according to client's desire.  Please inquire for more information.

In other news, Ethan was awarded a studio fellowship at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine.  This competitive program provides emerging and established furniture makers with an inspirational environment and professional guidance to further develop their skills.  During the March term, Ethan plans to design and build a lounge chair in a similar aesthetic to his webbed bench.  We look forward to the outcome!
